Youth Corner

Youth Group of Kansas City is affliated to the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Kansas City. HTCCOFKC Youth Group is geared towards indviduals between the ages of 16-18.

Our vision is of a vibrant community of Indian Youths of Kansas City.

Our mission is to unite the Indian Youth of Kansas City and create an environment that is conducive to forming long lasting relationships. Together we can inspire our youth to get involved in the community at large and show that we have an identity as young Indian living in Kansas City.

  •     To provide the Indian Youth an outlet that they can turn to when faced with adversities
  •     To ensure that today's youth are capable of becoming the leaders of tomorrow
  •     To provide a social network that breaks down communication barriers
  •     To develop the notion of what it means to be a Indian through activities within the community
  •     To bring unity among our youth through social activities and functions outside the place of worship

"Tribhirgunamayairbhavairebhih Sarvamidam Jagat
Mohitam Nabhijanati Mamebhyah Paramavyayam"

The whole world is engrossed in the three elements of Satva, Raja, and Tama. This is the reason, people don't recognize the Eternal God who is beyond them.
